I couldn't wait to put on my brand new Wangs and strut about in them, so here I am coveting my pride and joy in this post. I still can't get over how amazing they are. The colour couldn't be a more perfect shade to welcome into my wardrobe. I don't know how or why, but the tangerine goes with everything. My problem is clearly going to be choosing other shoes to wear instead of these bad boys. So, as much as it saddens me to say, I'm going to have to mix things up a bit in the shoe department. Especially because I consider myself somewhat of a shoeaholic. I have a feeling I'm always going to come back to these though, no matter how many other shoes take my fancy.
These jeans stood out to me when I was shopping a little while ago. I'm not one to wear camo normally, but I'm going to put the blame on the trend's prominence this season. I've seen it here, there and everywhere lately, so it must have entered my 'style subconscious' because next thing I know, a pair of camo print jeans are hanging in my closet. I thought I'd bust them out today while the weather was cooler.
I'm loving the colour/print clash of my shoes and jeans together!
My new love...these Alexander Wang heels in 'tang red' that I purchased last week. They're super sexy, edgy and most importantly, wearable all year round. I love the croc-embossed leather and have no doubt we will be inseparable for a long time to come. I can't wait to wear these to death!

Finally an outfit post! This time sporting my new denim cutoff shorts (just in time for temperatures to reach 42 degrees yesterday). I love the contrast of black and white paired with this cute little tank top. I'm going for comfort today, so I'm out and about in sandals. I figure there's no point being disgustingly hot and uncomfortable, so I may as well make things easier for myself.
I pretty much live in denim cutoffs and tank tops throughout summer. I'll try and mix things up a bit, but apologies in advance if I return to my all too perfect and familiar denim/tank uniform in the near future (because nothing compares when it comes to easy and relaxed style in such ridiculous heat).
Happy New Year everyone! This was my first NYE for a long time in Sydney. I was so happy to be able to spend the night in Darling Harbour with my sisters. It was such an awesome night (all pushing and shoving through crowds aside). Even though we didn't see the fireworks from the Harbour Bridge, these fireworks were still one of the best I've ever seen!
Our night consisted of first getting into Darling Harbour unscathed (via car, train, monorail and on foot). We then walked almost the entire length of Cockle Bay Wharf in search of a meal. We definitely should have booked because there was nowhere to eat! We eventually found a cute little pizza place that made take away, so we sat on the stairs outside and filled our bellies whilst enjoying the many extremely funny and slightly horrifying sights that make up NYE (people watching).
We followed dinner with gelato before going to one of the bars for cocktails. It was nice to chill for a bit out of the hustle and bustle before being thrust back into it in time for the fireworks.
